On the 8th August, The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta held the memorable Ayo Makan Media Event at its dazzling restaurant, The Courtyard. To commemorate the culinary competition amongst the talented chefs in the Marriott family, guests were treated to a line-up of the sumptuous creations by the winners, which were available at respective Marriott International hotels from 12th August until 9th September.

First up, delicious tuna accompanied by acar kuning created by Chef Ari of The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta was served. Next, guests were treated to rujak bumbu petis asinan by Chef Syaeful of Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City as well as lawar klungah by Chef Aditya of Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta. A comforting soto ayam soup was prepared by Chef Agus of JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya, followed up by gangan ikan ketarap by Chef Bahtiar of Fairfield by Marriott Belitung.

Karo cipera chicken by Chef Syahrur of JW Marriott Hotel Medan and a dish of gepuk, nasi tutug oncom by Chef Denny of The Westin Jakarta rounded off the tantalising meal. For sweets, a unique twist on cendol by Chef Dedi of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan was a fitting closer.
