For two nights in July, the runner-up of MasterChef Australia, Ben Ungermann, graced Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta with his presence for its Exquisite Indonesian Flavours dining event. Held at the hotel’s The Best Brew beer garden, the dinner was also part of the Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta’s third anniversary commemoration.

Ben incorporated Indonesian flavours into the inspired dishes he prepared so eager diners got to taste delicacies like nasi goreng arancini balls – deep-fried Indonesian fried rice, babi kecap – braised pork with sweet soy sauce, and Indonesian banana split with banana fritters, salted banana mousse and Ben’s own signature ice cream.

Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta’s Commis Chef Aditya also participated and whipped up dishes to complement Ben’s creation, including Balinese lawar klungah and sate lilit. Aditya will represent the hotel in Marriott International Bali’s 2018 Ayo Makan competition on 3rd August.
