As Chapung Sebali resort’s signature restaurant and pool bar, Jungle Fish has gained its own recognition and spotlight over the years with its inspired menu, lavish swimming pool and priceless views of Ubud’s lush greenery. The restaurant has now proudly announced its latest developments after extensive remodelling, including a traditional red brick barbeque, a sleek and extensive open kitchen, new furnishings and the crown jewel, an extended dining deck.
Known for its sophisticated yet chic design, Jungle Fish restaurant beautifully combines an Indonesian Joglo house with Scandinavian interior on top of eclectic details. Providing unobstructed views of the lush jungle from an elevated vantage point, the new deck is perfect for any dining situation, tailored to your needs – from quality meal time with friends, memorable celebrations under the canopy of stars to cocktail receptions or a romantic dinner with loved ones.
The red brick barbeque is meticulously crafted by Bali’s interior designers Mr. and Mrs. Marwan, while the classy open kitchen is designated for cooking classes, further adding to the restaurant’s intimate ambience.
The menu at Jungle Fish also went through a revamping with highlights including Asian favourites like tandoori chicken, grilled beef oxtail and pork belly noodles. Executive Chef Wuisan Chandra focuses on the use of seasonal ingredients and unique methods, like cooking on coffee wood and coconut shell.
“We are sure the whole ambiance will enrich our guests’ experience, both guests staying with us at Chapung Sebali, or those living in and around the Ubud area looking for a place to dine al fresco, enjoy sunset cocktails, or to simply relax whilst enjoying the unobstructed views overlooking the Wos River Valley,” Chapung Sebali’s General Manager Theo Granet said.
