Flat Stanley brings a new vibe to the bustling streets of Petitenget with a welcoming retro Pacific west coast vibe and an approachable dining experience with something for everyone. Self-proclaimed “dough-head” Matt White helms the kitchen and turns out a range of comfort food, including his famed hand-pulled sourdough pizzas, that make the most of Bali’s local produce for the freshest flavours.

With a background that includes working for chefs Michael Mina and Wolfgang Puck, as well as starting Alt. Pizza and Extra Virgin Pizza in Singapore, diners can expect exceptional flatbread pizzas, including signatures like the mushroom-based Truffle, Peppered Salami and the flavoursome vegetarian Rocket, all using a 48-hour double-fermentation sourdough crust.

However good the pizzas are, they are not the only thing on the menu, which includes grilled temptations such as pork chop, red snapper and salmon, as well as sides like roasted cauliflower and macaroni & blue cheese. At the top of the list though is the sharing plates – just perfect to graze on as you hang out with friends. Don’t miss the short-rib meatballs, grilled octopus, meat or cheese boards, or veggie favourites like salt-roasted beets, dinosaur kale and spinach & pumpkin. The dessert menu is small but delicious and kids have their own menu too.

Add an assortment of craft beers, wine, bottled cocktails and great coffees, plus a laidback, stylish, comfortable ambience with indoor and outdoor seating, and you have a go-to destination that suits all your friends.
