The open kitchen takes centre stage on a raised mezzanine with an adjoining cold kitchen, while the striking modern Asian design concept permeates through to the revised cuisine. With over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry and deep knowledge of Asian cuisine, the menu at Moonlite Kitchen & Bar is a playful take on Balinese, Indonesian and Asian cuisines, allowing diners to truly enjoy the culinary offerings at the rooftop restaurant.

Balinese Crispy Duck

Start your culinary journey with the Waxing Crescent section’s lighter and fresher dishes before moving on to the First Quarter section’s variety of soups. The Waxing Gibbous section offers comfort food dishes, while the Full Moon section highlights Moonlite Kitchen & Bar’s signature dishes. Finally, the New Moon section offers seasonal and locally sourced produce-focused desserts.

As with the Asian norm, dishes are meant for sharing and Moonlite’s reasonable pricing encourages diners to order several tasty plates to eat together. From the Waxing Crescent section, try the soft-shell crab, or the refreshing pomelo and seafood salad that will intrigue the senses with what’s to come next. Balinese flavours are also highlighted on the menu and the restaurant’s signature Balinese crispy duck and Bali baby pork ribs are two recommendations that are not to be missed. The pork ribs are grilled over charcoal, which brings extra smokiness to every bite.

Black Snow

In addition to the new food menu, the skilled team behind the bar has also created new cocktails inspired by the restaurant’s name. Offerings such as Black Snow, Black Rosca, Black Mamba and Black Island are made using activated charcoal to represent the shining moon over the darkened Balinese skies.
