An Intense Competition Between Star Culinary Performers

After its enormous success in 2014, the Hilton Worldwide F&B Masters competition is back. The F&B Masters is an internal multi-faceted competition where Hilton staff from all over the world can develop their skills, creativity and gain real-world experience. Aimed at recognizing and celebrating outstanding talent in the culinary arts, the competition is a fantastic opportunity for Conrad Bali’s star performers to show off their skills and compete against the best in the world.

Held in Southeast Asia only in 2014, the 2015/2016 competition has now been extended to the Asia Pacific region. The competition itself is divided into five categories: Culinary, Bar, Barista, Sommelier and Pastry. It is an honor for Conrad Bali to be represented by its creative talent, namely: Mangkudiasa, the creator of the signature Coffeeto coffee, in the Barista category, Arik Yuliana, the bartender who created the exquisite cocktail Fish Bowl, in the Bar category, Arta Wijaya in the Sommelier category, Rim Japanese Restaurant’s Chef Artiyasa in the Culinary category and Suyanta in the Pastry category. The five successful competitors from Conrad Bali are going to compete against representatives from the other Hilton Worldwide properties in Indonesia. They will then proceed to the regional (Asia Pacific) championships if successful.

The competition commenced in July and a regional final will take place in February 2016. Only the three final rounds (at the hotel, country and regional levels) will be staged.
