Get your taste buds ready for another delectable dining experience between VONG Kitchen and AMALFI Ristorante Italiano.                                                       

On Friday, 7 July 2023, Vong Kitchen and AMALFI Ristorante Italiano were the proud hosts of an exclusive chef collaboration event that showcased the culinary talents of Chef de Cuisine Matthew Byk from VONG Kitchen and Executive Chef at AMALFI Ristorante Italiano Marco Miglioli. Held at Vong Kitchen, the event promised to be a unique and unforgettable dining experience, and it didn’t disappoint.

Cold Tagliolini

Guests at the event enjoyed a specially curated menu featuring a range of dishes that highlight the chefs’ expertise. The menu included waffle panettone, the popular oyster carpaccio, cold tagliolini with seaweed butter, scallops and porcini mushrooms, and a selection of mouth-watering lamb dishes on the main course. The tasting menu showcased all the flavours in a five-course dish.                                                                       

In addition to the exquisite menu, guests were treated to an Italian wine pairing experience, supported by DSP Wine, featuring a selection of white and red wines. The white wines included were Tenute Rosetti Chianti and Vigneti Del Vulture Moscato, while the red wine selection included Poggio Civetta Governo All’Uso.

There will be another unforgettable dining experience event at AMALFI Ristorante Italiano by Chef Matthew Byk in collaboration with Chef Marco Miglioli with the same ‘Tasting Menu’ on Wednesday, 26 July 2023 starting at 6pm. New guests are invited and welcome to enjoy delicacies such as Egg Toast, a classic Jean Georges dish, cooked on a plancha to crisp up both sides, served with minced chive and dill, and garnished with 5g of Caviar. The Tomato Salad will be highlighted, using local Heirloom Tomatoes, dressed with a sesame vinaigrette and garnished with basil, chilli, radish and edible flowers.
