COMO Uma Ubud is excited to host the COMO Conversation: Arak Bali, Unveiling the Spirit of Bali
Set to captivate enthusiasts and connoisseurs, the “COMO Conversation: Arak Bali, Unveiling the Spirit of Bali” event will be held on 12 September 2023 from 3pm to 5pm. This occasion will shed light on the cultural significance of Arak Bali, the traditional Balinese spirit, through a series of recollections and enlightening discussions. Holding itself high as a staple of Balinese culture, being involved in ceremonies, rituals and social gatherings alike, Arak Bali looks to provide insights into its importance to history on the island with this event.
A series of highlights will showcase the COMO Conversation, as it promises a multidimensional exploration of Arak Bali. The mixology showcase will give attendees the opportunity to experience just how the popular spirit is made as local artisans and distillers do the honours with ancient techniques passed down through generations. Guests will also have the chance to sip on some fresh arak with offered cuisine to match. Some more of the event’s affairs include an Arak Bali tasting, where a curated selection of the renowned spirit is available to indicate your personal favourite. Taste why Arak Bali is such a principal part of Balinese heritage by experiencing every flavour just as a local would.
The “COMO Conversation: Arak Bali, Unveiling the Spirit of Bali” is highly anticipated at COMO Uma Ubud, and hope to see faces from all over come together to share the sacred traditions of Bali as one. Exclusive to in-house guests, the event is a complimentary addition to their stay, while external participants can join in at the minimal fee of IDR200,000++. Half of the proceeds from the event will go towards the Bali Foundation, helping children in Bali complete their education and find employment within their communities.
