A fusion of haute cuisine and fashion unfolds as Dior partners with Anne-Sophie Pic to introduce a new era of dining excellence.
Dior has unveiled a long-term collaboration with Anne-Sophie Pic, a Michelin-starred female chef, focusing on blending haute couture with fine dining. The partnership debuts in Japan with the opening of Café Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic at Kansai International Airport, offering travellers an exclusive taste of the chef’s artistry.
The café, situated next to the new Dior boutique in Terminal 2, presents a selection of cakes and pastries inspired by Christian Dior’s archives. The designs reflect the brand’s heritage, featuring cannage, houndstooth, leopard prints and toile de Jouy motifs. This collaboration marks the beginning of a broader culinary venture, with Pic set to helm the upcoming Monsieur Dior restaurant in Osaka, scheduled to open in 2025.
Pic expressed her admiration for the couturier’s vision of femininity, stating that his ability to enhance women’s elegance resonates with her approach to gastronomy. Holding 10 Michelin stars across nine restaurants, including the renowned three-star Restaurant Pic in Valence, she continues redefining French cuisine globally.
Dior’s move into fine dining has gained momentum, with Monsieur Dior in Paris and Café Dior locations across Asia and the United States. This latest collaboration reinforces the house’s commitment to celebrating French savoir-faire through fashion and food, bringing a new layer of artistry to its legacy.
