Lunar New Year carries with it a lot of traditions, from the handing out of red envelopes to gathering around the dining table, each with intention to herald a new year full of auspiciousness. As time goes by, these folkways have found new life, translated and refracted through each new generation’s own lens. From 15-28 February 2026, Secana Rooftop offers their own interpretation of Lunar New Year celebrations, defined by sweeping views of Bali’s coastline and sophisticated flavours.
Tradition takes on a contemporary language with the season’s special offerings. The Lunar menu features pan-fried dumplings in three signature flavours: chicken and shrimp, beef rendang, and mushroom and jicama, alongside duck steamed buns served with hoisin sauce and cucumbers for a fresh lift. For the ultimate pairing, toast to the season with some handcrafted lychee margarita.

Designed for togetherness, each dish comes as sharing plates, crafted to invite prosperity into the year ahead. The feasts reach an exciting climax as celebrations amp up on the 17th with special barongsai performances and free flow dumplings to ensure a year filled with prosperity and luck.
