Bau-Haus 1933
With a theme that represents the prohibition era, Bau-Haus 1933 serves classic cocktails using exceptional ingredients in an elegant, underground atmosphere. Among many of the in-house signatures, such as the Queen Marmalade and the Chilled Affogato, our favourite just has to be the Red Sorel. This classic punch is a gin-based cocktail perfectly mixed with a herb liquor and, of course, red sorel to give the cocktail a natural red colour. Sorel, also known as the red tea spice saccharum, gives classic wintery flavours of cinnamon, clove and ginger in a smooth and versatile way. While these ingredients blend in a transparent teapot, Champagne on the rocks awaits in a separate glass until the mixologist finally pours the teapot cocktail into the Champagne – very chic indeed.
