The St. Regis Bali Resort has been celebrating its ninth anniversary with a series of special events, the most glamorous of which was its Cheers to Nine Years Gala Dinner at Cloud Nine Terrace.
A balmy evening, sparkling lights and chandeliers strung up in the open air, elegantly dressed guests and an exquisite nine-course wine paired dinner came together to create a sophisticated event that not only pampered the distinguished guests, but also raised money to donate to Smile Train Indonesia for cleft lip and palate operations for Indonesia’s needy children.
After cocktails on the lawn, the dinner opened with a dramatic sabrage by nine of the resort’s sommeliers and was interspersed with door prizes and silent auction items. Each of the nine courses was prepared by a different resort chef, with the dessert course prepared by celebrity chef Farah Quinn, paired expertly with Frankland Estate wines. Entertainment was provided by the excellent Bonita and the hus Band and the evening ended with a dramatic firework display.
