Jocelyn Argaud takes the expression “to eat like a king” rather seriously, but that’s because he has worked in the kitchens of the Royal Palace of Qatar. As their Chef de Cuisine, he prepared dinner parties for visiting dignitaries including former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, as well as serving as the Executive Sous Chef for the royal wedding of a Qatari prince and princess.
But guests of the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan can now also expect the same standards as royalty. The Lyon born chef has recently been appointed as their Executive Sous Chef and says working in Bali has always been a dream of his and his wife.
Having come a long way from watching his mother cook in the kitchen as a boy, Chef Jocelyn has travelled the world to work in some of the most prestigious international establishments as well as several Michelin starred French restaurants. He will be bringing this French influence and international experience to the menus of the Four Seasons Resort at Sayan’s eateries – Ayung Terrace, Riverside Café and Jati Bar.
