From 4 April to 31 May 2025, COMO Beach Club invites you to discover the flavours of Gianyar through an exclusive culinary journey, featuring time-honoured Balinese dishes and exquisite arak-based cocktails.

Following the success of the Bangli Edition, the COMO Culinary Odyssey now ventures deeper into Bali’s cultural heart, Gianyar. Renowned for its rich artistic heritage, sacred temples and exceptional culinary traditions, Gianyar is a place where tradition is intricately woven into the fabric of everyday life.

From 4 April to 31 May 2025, guests are invited to COMO Beach Club to indulge in an exquisitely curated menu by Executive Chef Kadek Sugiantara. This set menu beautifully celebrates the bold, soulful flavours of Gianyar, reinterpreting traditional recipes with a refined, contemporary twist.

Signature dishes include Jukut Ares Bebek, a fragrant, tender duck and banana stem soup; Urab Paku, a bold and spicy fiddlehead fern cooked with toasted coconut, chilli, crispy shallot, fried garlic and shrimp paste oil; and Lawar Gerita, which features fresh, boiled octopus served with long beans, toasted coconut and Balinese spice. To complete the dining experience, guests can enjoy Pisang Rai, a sweet, delightful dessert made with steamed banana, coconut and palm sugar.

To complement this remarkable dining experience, a special series of arak-based cocktails has been crafted exclusively for the Gianyar Edition. Drawing inspiration from Bali’s breathtaking landscapes and captivating folklore, each cocktail offers a modern take on the island’s cherished spirit. Ubud twilight combines Arak Bali, longan puree, maraschino and cucumber – a delicate yet complex tribute to the serene evenings of Ubud. Tegallalang mist captures the essence of Gianyar’s renowned rice terraces with jackfruit-infused Arak Bali, coconut liqueur and clarified pandan pineapple. Meanwhile, Ayung bloom is bold and unexpected, blending pandan-infused Arak Bali, spiced rum, dragon fruit and peanut butter, celebrating the untamed beauty of the Ayung River.

Together, the menu and cocktails offer much more than a meal, they provide a sensory journey through Gianyar’s landscapes, stories and spirit. Guests are invited to savour this exclusive Gianyar dining experience, available for lunch and dinner at COMO Beach Club for IDR415,000++ per person.
