The Langham, Jakarta welcomes Chef Jeremy Jouan as its new executive chef. With extensive experience from some of the world’s most renowned kitchens, Chef Jeremy has a rich culinary background. Growing up in the South of France, he developed a passion for cooking at an early age. This enthusiasm led him to train in some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens, including the Michelin-starred Waterside Inn in England and Restaurant Daniel in New York.
Chef Jeremy’s journey then took him to lead restaurants in Dubai, Hanoi, Bangkok and Shanghai, where he continued to hone his culinary style. Now a distinguished Maître Cuisinier de France, he is eager to bring innovative ideas to the table at The Langham, Jakarta. His goals is to blend global techniques with local flavours, further enhancing the hotel’s reputation as one of Jakarta’s top dining destinations.
“I am honoured to join The Langham, Jakarta and contribute to its reputation as the city’s top dining destination. My goal is to create memorable culinary experiences that not only showcase international techniques but also highlight the rich flavours of Indonesian cuisine,” shared Chef Jeremy.
