Fans of Potato Head Jakarta will be pleased to know that the restaurant had launched a new menu as of 1st March. The new menu focuses on international comfort foods, featuring a variety of European, American and Asian specialties.
Thoughtfully crafted by Potato Head Jakarta’s talented culinary team, the new creations aim to showcase the best of local produce paired with meticulously sourced artisan ingredients. The food menu is accompanied by Potato Head Jakarta’s famed cocktails, masterminded by the skilful mixologists with root-to-flower cocktail creations utilising indigenous herbs, spices, fruits and flowers.
For starters, the tuna nicoise utilises sashimi-grade tuna, vibrant bell peppers, organic baby potatoes and quail eggs drizzled with lemon orange dressing. Guests looking for something unique can try the homemade black ink angel hair pasta cooked to al dente perfection, served with a butter sauce and topped with generous chunks of crab meat, calamari and aromatic fennel slices.
For mains, the pan-fried snapper comes highly recommended. The succulent snapper is served with bright seasonal vegetables, slivers of lemongrass and mouth-watering house-made sambal matah. Guests looking to tuck into something more substantial should order the 210g beef tenderloin YGS. The Australian tenderloin is sizzled to perfection and served with sides of roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes and a choice of mushroom, BBQ or Café de Paris sauces. To close the meal, the fried banana with coconut nectar is truly decadent, fried Pontianak-style and finished off with mounds of grated cheese and coconut nectar sauce.
