A Culinary Symphony in Ubud

Uma Cucina and SIR LOIN join forces to celebrate COMO Uma Ubud’s 20th anniversary.

In honour of COMO Uma Ubud’s 20th anniversary, Uma Cucina is thrilled to announce a remarkable collaboration with one of Jakarta’s most revered steakhouses, SIR LOIN. This event, scheduled for 11 to 13 June 2024, promises to be a gastronomic extravaganza, featuring a meticulously curated four-course menu. Designed by SIR LOIN Executive Chef Andita Biantoro, guests will enjoy an exclusive dining experience every evening from 6pm to 11pm. This celebration not only marks two decades of exceptional hospitality and culinary excellence but also unites the innovative flavours and techniques of two distinguished dining establishments.

The four-course menu is a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary flair and includes Duo Corn, featuring a corn tartlette with pillow pastry, corn puree and parmesan, and Grilled Baby Corn with baby corn and cheese sauce. The Lobster Mac n Cheese is a luxurious dish of baby lobster, béchamel and double cheese. The cheese-aged striploin is a standout, with a 20-day butter parmesan-aged striploin paired with truffle sauce. For dessert, guests will indulge in an Apple Pie with apple, cinnamon and butter cookie crumble, all covered with cotton candy.

Beyond celebrating the significant milestone, this event also carries a noble cause. A portion of the profits from the collaboration will be donated to the COMO Challenge Grant charity programme, supporting Yayasan Senyum Bali. This organisation works tirelessly to reduce the suffering associated with craniofacial abnormalities and improve the quality of life by facilitating healthcare delivery to people with craniofacial disabilities in Bali and other Indonesian islands. They achieve this in partnership with local and international healthcare professionals.
