If you have yet to hear the excited whispers about Dallas Cuddy, you probably will soon, because everyone will be talking about the famed Australian chef’s upcoming kitchen takeover at W Retreat & Spa Bali – Seminyak. Between the 5th and 9th of February, Chef Dallas will be coming for a visit to Bali, taking the reins from Starfish Bloo’s Head Chef, Kevin Chung, to offer up some unforgettable dining experiences.
Having achieved great things early in his career, such as winning The Age’s prestigious Young Chef of the Year Award in 2007, Chef Dallas has also had the opportunity of being mentored by some of the culinary world’s best known names, including Gordon Ramsay and Ian Curley. Other career highlights include working in Nobu, London and opening his own award-winning restaurant, Izakaya Den, in Melbourne.
Guests will be able to watch Dallas in action through the open kitchen at Starfish Bloo and get a first-hand taste of his signature style. From Wednesday to Saturday, a 3 course lunch menu and a 5 course tasting menu matched to wine will be available, as well as a special 5 course wine dinner on Friday night at The W’s ICE Bar. Dallas will then finish off his kitchen stint at Starfish Bloo with the restaurant’s iconic brunch buffet, promising some signature dishes on Sunday afternoon.
