Indonesian meat master steal the spotlight at World Steak Challenge 2024.
Dimas Ramadhan Pangestu, the culinary luminary affectionately known as Dims The Meat Guy, is set to make history this September. As the first Indonesian judge at the renowned World Steak Challenge 2024 in Amsterdam, Dims will be rubbing shoulders with the world’s most discerning meat connoisseurs.
This prestigious appointment is a testament to Dims’s exceptional expertise in the art of beef preparation. His journey, which began in 2020 through digital and social media exploration, has culminated in global recognition. “Being invited to judge at this esteemed competition is a profound honour,” Dims remarked. “I hope to showcase Indonesia’s culinary prowess, particularly in the realm of steak, on the international stage.”
The World Steak Challenge 2024, to be held at Vlees & Co in Amsterdam on 11 September 2024, will involve a rigorous judging process. Each steak will be evaluated anonymously and independently, ensuring an impartial assessment based on established international standards.
