On February 10, Jakarta Restaurant & The Courtyard will host a grand Lunar New Year Brunch. As a preview to the exclusive set menu, unique Lasem-inspired afternoon tea is available from 22 January to 24 February at The Majapahit Lounge, featuring a fusion of savoury and sweet dishes. Delight your taste buds with scallop urap latoh, chicken roll, rice cake lontong tuyuhan, and pan-fried barramundi kelo merico, all set against the serene backdrop of The Majapahit Lounge.
That’s not all. Fashion enthusiasts and art lovers can explore the timeless elegance of Kain from Lasem at The Gallery. Running from 12 January to 10 February, the exhibition by esteemed fashion designer Didiet Maulana showcases a curated collection of Kain, highlighting Lasem’s rich batik tradition. The exhibition is open to the public, offering a visual journey through centuries-old techniques, vibrant colors, and intricate patterns.
