As the man behind the three Michelin-starred Bo Innovation and the fabulous Bib n Hops Korean restaurant, the self-styled “Demon Chef” Alvin Leung needs no introduction to Asia’s discerning diners. In a highly anticipated move, at his latest venture the Forbidden Duck, the larger-than-life chef offers his own take on traditional Chinese favourites.
Situated in the iconic Times Square tower in Causeway Bay, the Forbidden Duck serves up a range of classic Lueng-style Cantonese staples, such as dim sum and char siu roasted pork, and of course duck cooked and served with a modern twist. Recommended is the signature Peking duck served with pancakes and all the associated trappings, or for a heartier dish check out the slow-cooked duck served like a sandwich in orange-infused steamed buns topped with lashings of chef’s secret recipe homemade sauce.
