The Italian-born mixologist will lead the hotel’s city-view high-rise bar, ARGO.
Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong welcomes Federico Balzarini as the new Beverage Manager. With his appointment, Federico will be heading ARGO and leading the beverage program of the award-winning bar.
Starting his career in his hometown of Lake Garda, Northern Italy, Balzarini moved to London to pursue an opportunity at the now-closed Hubbard & Bell. His next post was American Bar at The Savoy, where he worked alongside some industry icons such as Declan McGurk, Erik Lorincz, Lorenzo Antinori and Martin Hudak. Balzarini was also part of the award-winning team that came first in The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2017; attained multiple accolades in Spirited Awards in 2018, and won Legend of the List in 2019.
Balzarini then went to Asia in 2021, joining the acclaimed Vesper in Bangkok. Now appointed Beverage Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and will be heading ARGO, the award-winning bar. Both Balzarini and ARGO are no strangers to the World’s and Asia’s 50 Best lists – a partnership we look forward to see.
