Johnnie Walker is celebrating two decades of greatness with super premium, limited edition bottles.
Starting as a humble idea of opening a small grocery in rural Scotland, the Johnnie Walker brand has now become the world’s leading Scotch whisky, loved by connoisseurs around the globe. This year, the whisky purveyor is celebrating its 200th anniversary filled with hope, resilience and optimism.
Commemorating the milestone, Johnnie Walker is releasing limited edition bottles across its variants. Adorned with the special 200th anniversary theme, the bold new design can be found on Johnnie Walker Black Label, Red Label and Gold Label Reserve. In addition, Johnnie Walker has also launched a super premium, limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label 200th Anniversary Limited Edition Design, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Legendary Eight Limited Edition Whisky, and John Walker and Sons Celebratory Blend Limited Edition Scotch Whisky.
Diageo, Johnnie Walker’s sole distributor, is publishing a book called A Long Stride, written by Nicholas Morgan, Diageo’s Head of Whisky Outreach. This book tells the story of how John Walker and a succession of ingenious and progressive business leaders embraced their Scottish roots to walk confidently on an international stage.
