High above the city lights, the arrival of the Lunar New Year takes on a distinct elegance at InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar. As the year turns, the hotel presents The Lunar Royal Feast, a one-night celebration designed to bring families together over exceptional food and shared tradition.
Taking place on 16 February 2026, the evening spans two of the hotel’s signature venues, each offering a different way to welcome the Year of the Horse that will begin from 6pm to 10pm.
For a refined, traditional experience, Tian Jing Lou presents a curated Chinese Set Menu rich in symbolism. The meal begins with the Prosperity Yu Sheng featuring premium smoked salmon, a ritual toss for abundance. Highlights include the Five Treasury Chinese Combination, boasting crisp tiger prawns, jasmine tea-smoked duck with plum sauce, and chilled jellyfish in Szechuan dressing. A warming Double Boiled Fish Maw Soup precedes the main course of braised sea cucumber with green asparagus in superior oyster sauce, before the meal concludes with a delicate poached snow pear and peach gum in aromatic yuzu tea.
Alternatively, for those who prefer a more spontaneous dining style, Damai Restaurant hosts a lavish Lunar New Year Buffet. Here, festive Chinese specialities sit alongside international favourites, creating a relaxed atmosphere where guests can dine at their own pace.
The evening is threaded with cultural vibrancy, featuring a spirited Lion Dance, Kung Fu demonstrations, and live music. A lucky draw adds a spark of anticipation to the night’s proceedings.
