With the Mid-Autumn Festival fast approaching, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta welcomes the season of gratitude with the launch of its 2025 Mooncake Collection. Crafted by the culinary team at Pearl Chinese Restaurant led by the newly appointed Director of Culinary, Chef Gyula Harangi, this year’s collection pays homage to tradition while embracing refined craftsmanship and artistic flair.
A media launch was held on 25 July 2025 at Pearl Chinese Restaurant, offering guests a first glimpse of the mooncakes and their exclusive new packaging: the Sapphire Box, in soft pastels with gold accents and rabbit motifs; the Ruby Box presents a bolder, red-and-gold design with a double-door reveal; lastly, the Jade Hamper stands as a grand centrepiece with an opulent green box featuring celestial patterns, glowing moon details and rabbit miniatures.
With prices ranging from IDR888,000 to IDR2,888,000 per box, guests may choose from four classic flavours: Lotus, Red Bean, Pandan and Black Sesame, with options to add single or double yolks for a personalised touch. Less-sweet versions are also available for those seeking a lighter, health-conscious option.
Chef Gyula explained the notion behind the mooncake collection that connects cultural heritage and culinary craftsmanship.
