Home to the first-ever beachside Indian restaurant, The Beach Shack, the resort recaptures its essence in a new iteration, Samudra Ganesha. Diners can still delight in the robust flavours of chaats, tandoors and curries against a coastal atmosphere, now with an added touch of Riviera-inspired elegance. Chef Jeevraj Singh will also infuse his globetrotting culinary expertise into the spread of scrumptious dishes and handcrafted drinks from the bar, blending authenticity with a fun tropical spin.
Veritas, the attachment to Karma Kandara’s signature restaurant di Mare, is also receiving a makeover. Decked in woods and leathers while washed in moody lighting, the wine bar boasts the aesthetics of a speakeasy, while small pops of colour here and there retain the old cocktail lounge charm. It’s the perfect setup to savour the cellar’s best offerings.
At the heart of this new chapter is Sarang Lounge, a brand new arrival to the resort’s roster of experiences. In keeping with its namesake, the Indonesian word for nest, this co-working space arrives as a sanctuary where people from all avenues of life can cross paths over artisanal coffees, refreshing cocktails or delectable treats from di Mare.
