New Shades of Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently launched a new campaign concept titled “Open to the New Shades” to the Indonesian market over a teatime gathering at The Writers Bar at Raffles Jakarta.

The target of the new concept is to introduce and acquaint people with Thailand’s world of specialty. “This new campaign reflects another kind of Thai-ness, which is the unique characteristic of Thai people to welcome visitors from all over the world,” explained Busakorn Prommanot, TAT director in Indonesia.

TAT is aiming at new directions that cover new markets, new segmentations and new products – targeting the luxury market, weddings and honeymooners, lady travellers, family and Gen Y. Supporting the campaign is Claudia Kaunang, an inspirational travel expert who has globe-trotted to see the beauty of many countries around the world – including Thailand, which is one of her most visited countries. Claudia previously collaborated with TAT in TAT’s Women’s Journey programme in 2017.
