Tucked away on the fourth floor of Prat Avenue in Tsim Sha Tsui, Spice Bazaar is Hong Kong’s newest culinary gem, offering a fresh take on Indian tandoor barbecue. This intimate 30-seat restaurant beautifully blends tradition with innovation, providing a dining experience that feels both authentic and contemporary. Spice Bazaar is a deeply personal venture for co-owner and Executive Chef Balram Yadav, reflecting his over 30 years of culinary journey, honouring the rich traditions of Indian cuisine while embracing modern refinement.

The restaurant’s ambience is warm and inviting, featuring café-inspired interiors that transition seamlessly from day to night. Natural light fills the space during the day, while golden pendant lighting glows in the evening, creating an intimate dining atmosphere. A striking retro mural at the entrance expresses gratitude for fresh ingredients and the culinary traditions that shape Spice Bazaar’s menu.
Chef Yadav’s menu celebrates authentic Indian flavours with a contemporary twist, including smoky tandoor delights, indulgent curries and handcrafted specialities. Standout dishes include the Hyderabadi lamb shank biryani, which features tender lamb shank and fragrant basmati rice cooked separately with spices and then layered together, resulting in an aromatic masterpiece that reflects the rich culinary legacy of Hyderabad.
