New Tables Singapore: Kee’s

Japanese Red Sea Bream

Nestled within the historic Chye Hua Seng Wee Kee remittance building, Kee’s is a stylish restaurant that was born from the mind of Chef Andrew Walsh. Playing a nod to the building’s cherished past, the restaurant focuses on modern European fare alongside a thoughtfully curated array of pan-Asian dishes. The eatery, which is the flagship dining venue of the recently opened 21 Carpenter boutique hotel, has a welcoming vibe that invites visitors to stay late into the evening. Every experience is enhanced by the elevated open kitchen, and the dimly lit wine cellar creates a cosy atmosphere at night.

In harmony with the interior, the menu is filled with dishes that cater to every moment. Speciality small plates include a charcuterie trio, tuna tartare and marinated green olives. If you are in the mood for something heartier, try the Wanderer rib-eye steak frites, which come with chimichurri and red onion, or the 24-hour braised beef cheek rendang, which is served with homemade snake bean achar. An extensive list of cocktails and wines is also available for your dining pleasure.
