Built around a large open kitchen, light stone, pale wood and large windows create an open, airy ambience making both the restaurant and the bar within easy spaces to relax and enjoy a drink, a scrumptious late-evening dinner or a lighter lunch between shopping and resort activities.
Helmed by the highly regarded Douglas Tay, Osia offers guests a wealth of beautifully presented and deliciously tempting meat and seafood dishes complemented by an excellent drinks menu. The restaurant bar is near the entrance and being well stocked with premium spirits, beers and wines from around the world, it’s the perfect spot for pre- or post-dinner drinks.
With set and à la carte menus featuring small, large and sharing platters, chef’s specials plus a wonderful cheese menu for dessert, the selection of food available is exceptional. For meat lovers highlights include the Mayura Station full blood wagyu – grilled to perfection in the stone hearth oven, wagyu beef tenderloin and oyster beignet served with burnt celeriac, puffed brown rice, seawater foam and a luscious pulverised demi-glace.
For those who favour fish and seafood, the Glacier 51 toothfish with shiro miso glaze, sweet potato miso purée, soy milk curd and black sesame espuma or the fjord trout and red king crab effiloché served with charred endive, lemon gel, confit egg yolk emulsion and a drizzle of gremolata vinaigrette, are simply sublime.
