This December, Osteria GIA introduces Buon Natale, a limited-time Christmas specials menu inspired by the warmth and generosity of an Italian festive table. Notable for its Italian cooking in Jakarta, Osteria GIA brings this seasonal celebration to all of its outlets nationwide, including Jakarta, Surabaya, and Semarang. The launch also marks a milestone for Semarang, which presents its first special menu since opening.
Available until 31 December 2025, the Buon Natale menu is designed for sharing and gathering, reflecting the spirit of togetherness that defines Christmas in Italy. Curated by Executive Chef Tommaso Gonfiantini, the menu draws from classic Italian traditions while maintaining Osteria GIA’s contemporary style and focus on quality ingredients.
The festive selection features four special dishes: Burrata & Figs pairs creamy stracciatella di burrata with caramelised and dried figs, aged balsamic, walnuts, and fresh herbs, served with warm pita bread; Lasagna Croccante offers a crisp take on a classic, layered with homemade spinach pasta sheets, Parmigiano béchamel, and slow-braised beef short rib ragù; for a main course, Branzino al Forno presents a whole baked barramundi, served with charred baby romaine, beurre blanc sauce, and prawn oil; to finish, Churros Bomboloni delivers a festive dessert twist, accompanied by whiskey custard and dark chocolate dip.
Alongside the food, Osteria GIA introduces three seasonal cocktails created to complement the Christmas menu. Nutcracker Frost is a smooth, slushy-style cocktail with Irish whiskey, vanilla, and toasted hazelnut notes, Noel Delight reinterprets the Boulevardier with a warm, spiced profile, while Winter Spritz offers a lighter option with dark berry and plum notes balanced by gentle bubbles.
