Recently established in Seminyak is a bar that brings back the Bali of yesteryear. Kinky Tiki bar marries the old trade of bamboo construction with quirky murals and brightly coloured Tiki statues to provide the perfect backdrop to your laidback evening out.
The menu is simple, ranging from thin-crust pizzas and tasty burgers on the comfort food side to poke bowls for the health conscious and those with a smaller appetite. The drinks start with Bali’s staple Bintang beer, move through fun non-alcoholic virgin cocktails like the Caribbean Frosty, and on to where the bartenders and guests have the most fun – the Tiki cocktails. These specialities bring smiles to faces with names like Crazy Monkey and Tonga Fire and feature genuine spirits, fresh market-bought fruit and are served in custom Tiki glasses handmade in Bali.
