As Chinese New Year and Ramadan converge in February 2026, Grand Hyatt Singapore embraces both cultural celebrations for a diverse showing of its savoir-faire, A Grand Reunion.

Though different cultures celebrate different holidays, one underlying universality remains throughout any festivity: a chance to reconnect and spend meaningful moments with closest kin. Well, that, and food. So, as February 2026 welcomes both the Chinese New Year and the holy month of Ramadan, Grand Hyatt Singapore offers a Grand Reunion where guests can immerse themselves in this twofold celebration at the Grand Living Room.

Beginning on 16 February, StraitsKitchen welcomes diners to a Chinese New Year’s Eve Reunion Dinner as well as a lunch and dinner on the 17th and 18th. The lavish buffet spread is set to ring in a year of prosperity, abundance, and longevity, represented through playful reimaginations of this holiday’s staples. Among the highlights are Double Happiness and Good Luck Yu Sheng with smoked Atlantic salmon and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, featuring a rich double-boiled chicken broth with abalone and dried scallop. À la carte Yu Sheng is also available from 6 February to 3 March, allowing guests to extend their celebrations beyond the holiday’s calendar dates.

Festivities don’t stop there; guests can even take it home with them with delectable takeaway feasts and gift bundles from The Shop. Celebrants can enjoy Yu Sheng with sustainable smoked salmon and jellyfish, a Bountiful Treasure Pot featuring the finest seafood and smoked duck, an herbaceous lotus leaf-wrapped eight treasures chicken, and a Chef’s special seafood fried rice with salted egg yolk with the family from the comfort of their own residence. Meanwhile, hampers filled with selections spanning Kueh Lapis, Love Letters, Kueh Bangkit, Pineapple Tarts, and Festive Pralines give people an advantage to share the joy with others.

On 19 February, the dining experience transitions to a Middle Eastern-tinged flavour as the Islamic holy month commences. Lasting through 19 March 2026, the Ramadan dinner buffet allows guests to break their fast with selections such as a colourful mezze selection, barbecue specialities that include Udang Bakar (grilled prawns) and Kambing Panggang (roasted mutton), as well as a carousel of soup offerings and a shawarma station. The celebration peaks on Eid al-Fitr. The hotel is marking the end of the monthlong fasting on the night of 20 March with a Hari Raya Eve feast, extending to the 21st with a Hari Raya Puasa lunch and dinner buffet, complete with live carving stations, indulgent desserts like Baklava and Kasih Halva, and an assortment of premium dates and dried fruits at The Date Bazaar.
