This May, Sana Sini Restaurant at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia brings a flavour-packed week with Senandung Selera – Taste of Malaysia, a special collaboration with Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre. From 19 to 25 May 2025, two guest chefs, Chef Chong and Chef Haslan, will introduce Jakarta diners to the warmth and richness of Malaysian cooking.
A blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous influences shapes Malaysian cuisine. This programme lets guests experience diverse flavours that define the country’s food culture. The menu includes well-loved dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Malaysian Chicken Curry, and Rendang Tok, along with hearty options like Sop Tulang Rawan. All are prepared with traditional techniques that reflect the chefs’ connections to these recipes.
Lunch and dinner buffets are available throughout the week, starting from IDR460,000++ per person. Guests can expect a generous range of dishes made with care and familiarity. From popular street food to regional staples, the spread is designed to be both comforting and full of flavour.
On Saturday, 24 May 2025, there is also the chance to join a hands-on cooking class led by the guest chefs. Priced at IDR300,000++ per person, the session allows participants to learn a few classic dishes and hear the stories behind them.
Rather than reinterpreting tradition, Senandung Selera is about celebrating it. This is not a flashy showcase, but a meaningful introduction to the food passed around at family tables and remembered for years.
