The Gaia Hotel Bandung concludes 2025 with a series of festive programmes designed to bring guests together in a spirit of joy. This year, the resort introduces two central themes: “Gifts of Christmas”, celebrating hope and togetherness, and “The Best of Us”, a tribute to the year’s achievements and a call to embrace 2026 with renewed positivity.
Festivities begin with the hotel’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the lobby. The event features performances by the Resident Choir, Laurentius Symphony Orchestra, Firefly Dance, and an appearance by Santa Claus. Throughout December, weekend activities bring added cheer, including choir showcases, flash mobs, and children’s programmes at the Kids Cads Play Studio. A special Christmas Concert on 20 December will feature the Maranatha Christian University Choir.
Dining plays a significant role in the celebrations. Semeja Asian Kitchen presents delightful festive buffets on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, offering classic seasonal favourites including roasted meats, seafood specialities, and traditional sweets such as Yule Log Cake, Stollen and Panettone. The warm and sociable setting makes it ideal for family gatherings.
For those seeking a different culinary experience, Monomono Bar & Social Dining offers a Nikkei-inspired set menu for both lunch and dinner on 24 and 25 December, showcasing a blend of Peruvian and Japanese flavours with a refined modern approach.
New Year’s Eve at The Gaia Hotel Bandung embraces the theme “The Best of Us”. Semeja Asian Kitchen highlights the diverse flavours of Asia through a curated buffet experience, celebrating regional signatures prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Monomono will also host an intimate six-course New Year’s Eve dinner accompanied by live music.
As midnight approaches, celebrations move to the Edelweiss Ballroom with entertainment, games, and live performances including a headline act leading the countdown. The evening concludes with the hotel’s signature fireworks display lighting up the Bandung skyline.
