Famed rooftop bar Smoke & Mirrors, located on the top of the National Gallery Singapore, is proud to announce the arrival of Jorge Conde as its new Head Bartender. Hailing from Spain, he is a true mixologist at heart with a keen eye for detail, a love for art and a curious spirit about the world around him. His curiosity and passion for storytelling come to life through his cocktails as he explores techniques such as fermentation, distillation and preservation to create new flavours.
To mark the new era, Jorge introduces the Illusion of Flavours, an exciting new cocktail menu for guests to enjoy. Inspired by classic cocktails, Jorge’s new creations stay true to the Smoke & Mirrors name, combining spirits and magical illusions while pushing the boundaries of expectations. Illusion of Flavours is divided into six categories and is heavily influenced by art, with cocktails paying homage to renowned classics inspired by such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Vincent van Gogh.
