Plantation Rum and Potato Head Group in Indonesia joined forces in May to hold two Hawaii-inspired events. In Bali, tourists, expats and locals were invited to the Beach Club to enjoy special Plantation cocktails crafted by Plantation’s Charles Ollivier and Potato Head mixologist Dre Masso in a special rum shack that had been especially built for the two-day event.
Jakarta residents were not forgotten and Three Buns Jakarta held a similar Hawaii-style event on 13th May 2015 in conjunction with World Cocktail Day. The event, celebrating the launch of world-famous Plantation Rum, was overseen by guest mixologist and rum expert Charles Ollivier. What was more exciting than the exotic decorations, however, were the many delightful Plantation Rum-based cocktails prepared by Ollivier, such as the Mai Tai based on Plantation Original Dark, Plantation 3 Star, orange liquor, orgreat syrup and fresh lime, and the Zombie, made of Plantation Original Dark, Plantation 3 Star, maraschino liquor, apricot brandy, orange juice, grenadine and lime with a dash of Plantation Original Dark Overproof. DJ David J and Ffonz accompanied the guests as they blissfully enjoyed the cocktails in a wonderfully festive evening.
