Jumeirah Bali unveils Mantra, a refined new private dining venue in Uluwatu offering curated menus, immersive storytelling and a serene cliffside setting.
Jumeirah Bali has officially introduced Mantra, a unique new concept redefining private dining on the island. Tucked beneath the acclaimed AKASA Restaurant & Bar, this exclusive space offers a refined and immersive experience that blends fine cuisine, storytelling and curated wine pairings.
Inspired by the Sanskrit word for a sacred expression, Mantra embodies quiet elegance and purposeful design. Hidden within the natural cliffside contours, guests descend by glass elevator into a secluded, thoughtfully designed space. The interior preserves the raw textures of the surrounding hillside, offering a setting that feels both grounding and luxurious.
The culinary journey is led by Chef Joan Achour, Chef de Cuisine at AKASA, who presents French-inspired menus infused with local flavours and seasonal ingredients. Complementing the food is a wine programme curated by Sommelier Suyanto, featuring carefully selected premium labels to match each course.
Dining at Mantra is tailored to personal preferences, with guests choosing between a four-course menu starting at IDR3,950,000++ or a six-course menu at IDR4,650,000++, both of which include wine pairings. The experience begins with a welcome drink and hors d’oeuvres, followed by attentive service throughout the evening. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance, with seatings available from 5pm to 11pm.
Mantra includes three distinct yet connected spaces: the main private dining venue, Mantra Pavilion – an outdoor area for intimate celebrations – and the soon-to-open Mantra Wine Cellar, designed for wine tastings and connoisseurs.
