This August, Bali’s culinary scene comes to life with a week-long festival celebrating local talent, community and evolving food trends.
Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort is set to host the Courtyard Seminyak Food Fest, a vibrant culinary event running from 11 to 17 August 2025. Taking place in Seminyak, the festival brings together chefs, mixologists, and industry professionals to celebrate Indonesian flavours and emerging global food movements.
The week begins with a masterclass by Chef Wisnu Adiyatma from Renaissance Bali Uluwatu, offering insight into modern culinary techniques. The following day, the Low & Slow BBQ delves into the rich traditions of Indonesian barbecue, highlighting bold spices and slow-cooked flavours.
One of the festival’s main highlights is the Nusantara Dinner Collaboration on 13 August, featuring three chefs from Courtyard Seminyak, Fairfield Sunset Road and Aloft Kuta, crafting a multi-course menu based on local ingredients with a modern twist.
On 14 August, Unilever Food Solutions leads a discussion on future food trends. This is followed by a Bar Take Over with Seagram on 15 August, showcasing crafted cocktails in a lively rooftop setting.
The Archipelago Backyard BBQ on 16 August brings together chefs from Courtyard Seminyak, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort and W Seminyak – Bali for an open-air feast inspired by regional dishes.
The final day features a film screening under the stars curated by Backdraft Project and wraps up with an Industry BBQ Night hosted by ABC, designed for food professionals to gather, connect and close the festival in a relaxed setting.
More than just food, the Courtyard Seminyak Food Fest celebrates collaboration, creativity, and the people who shape Bali’s evolving culinary identity.
