At the helm of Fu House’s kitchen are two culinary masters, Executive Chef Lance Mueller, acclaimed for his work at E.P Los Angeles and Hawker Hall in Melbourne, and Head Chef I Putu Agus Armen, previously of Seminyak’s renowned Bikini Restaurant and Sisterfields Café. Together, they have crafted a menu that showcases the art of wood-fire grilling, smoke infusion and fermentation, all while paying homage to traditional Thai flavours with a modern twist.
Fu House’s menu offers a culinary journey through Thai cuisine, with a focus on inventive small plates. Dishes like the Northern Style Pork Sausage, delicately steamed on banana leaves and grilled over wood, highlight the restaurant’s dedication to authenticity and innovation. The Mutton Panang Curry, featuring whole roasted shallots and paired with house-made scallion roti, serves up a rich medley of flavours, while the Kanom Krok dessert, infused with mud crab and sour leaf, adds a bold twist to Thai sweets.
