Irish whiskey arrives in Indonesia with a sense of occasion as Woody Kane, Global Brand Ambassador of The Busker Irish Whiskey, makes his highly anticipated debut in the country. Taking place from 30 March to 5 April 2026, the visit forms part of his wider Asia tour, marking a significant step in strengthening the brand’s presence within one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic and fast-evolving markets.
Widely regarded as both a storyteller and educator, Woody brings with him over two decades of experience. Encompassing a broad range of fields from research and development, global trade engagement, to even international judging panels. His work with Royal Oak Distillery has been instrumental in shaping not only the identity of The Busker, but also the way Irish whiskey is experienced by audiences around the world, grounded in the belief that every great whiskey is defined just as much by its narrative as its craft.
Kane’s journey across Indonesia will unfold through Jakarta (30 March to 1 April 2026), Surabaya (1-2 April 2026), and Bali (2-5 April 2026), where a series of curated tastings and masterclasses will commence. The Irish-born is set to introduce The Busker Single Collection to a growing community of enthusiasts and industry insiders. In Jakarta, an intimate evening at Puero Senopati will set the tone, offering guests a rare opportunity to engage directly with Woody and explore the nuances of Irish whiskey through a more personal lens.
