at RIMBA Jimbaran BALI by AYANA
With numerous outlets throughout Asia, Ah Yat Abalone is no rookie when it comes to authentic Chinese cuisine. Fortunately, Bali is blessed with one of the restaurant’s outlets, at the expansive RIMBA Jimbaran BALI, to be exact. The hearty cuisine on offer at Ah Yat Abalone mirrors Founder-Chef Yeung Koon Yat’s Cantonese heritage, with a wide array of delicious fare comprising traditional dishes to more popular culinary delights.
Exquisite delicacies with known health benefits like bird’s nest, sea cucumber and abalone are available at the restaurant, in addition to the crowd favourite extensive dim sum selection (comprising an impressive number of 47 different types of dim sum). Eager diners usually come for the all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch menu, but the live seafood section – cooked to your liking – is also not to be missed. The built-in seafood tanks just go to show that freshness is paramount at Ah Yat Abalone.
Embracing the traditional old-world Chinese hospitality and cuisine, the two-storey dining destination boasts custom-made furniture and artwork, complementing the traditional Chinese table settings. Ah Yat Abalone also provides VIP rooms and large open dining areas to cater to diners looking to hold special events or functions such as for Chinese New Year.
To welcome the Year of the Dog, Ah Yat Abalone is serving a special set menu inspired by traditional recipes and ingredients, taken to a new creative level. Guests can look forward to scrumptious dishes like the roasted suckling pig combination, stewed South African fresh abalone, steamed garoupa Hong Kong-style and pan-fried king prawns, among others on 15th and 16th February. A lion dance performance will complement the good fortune set menu, making for a fantastic festivity. Furthermore, Ah Yat Abalone is also offering a limited celebratory menu from 10th February to 2nd March.
