Brockmans was created in 2009 by four gin-loving friends who, with over 60 years combined experience in the drinks industry and a wealth of knowledge in gin distillation between them, embarked on a journey that would write a new chapter in the history of gin, the most English of spirits.
Their collective aim was to create something modern, engaging and distinctive, something that would offer a new experience, a gin that was perfect on its own over ice, with a simple premium mixer or as a component of an exotic concoction. Their goal was to create a gin like no other.
Fast forward to 2018 and today Brockmans has a huge global following amongst savvy bartenders and discerning drinkers who adore this intriguing premium award-winning gin for its extraordinary complexity, unmatched smoothness and exclusivity.
The gin is made in Oldbury, England, in small batches using an exquisite blend of 11 carefully and globally sourced aromatic botanicals, such as angelica from Germany, liquorice from China, coriander from Bulgaria and cassia bark from Vietnam.
Before distilling, the botanicals are steeped in pure grain spirit for 24 hours to release the natural oils and aromas, after which the liquid is slowly distilled using the traditional copper pot still method, all under the watchful eye of the master distiller.
With 11 botanicals, the gin is complex on the nose and palate. The Italian juniper berries offer pine, lavender and camphor notes, while the Spanish lemon and orange peel add zesty citrus. But it’s the use of dried wild blueberries and blackberries from northern Europe that impart the soft and fruity character for which this silky spirit is rightly famed.
Perfect served the traditional way with a refreshing premium tonic and equally as impressive built into a stunning cocktail or punch, this intensely smooth gin is also one of the few that is enjoyed neat over ice where the layered tastes and aromas can be fully experienced.

The quintessential G&T – with a twist
- 50ml Brockmans gin
- Premium tonic
- Twist of grapefruit peel
- 2 fresh blueberries
- Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the gin.
- Add tonic slowly by pouring down a swizzle spoon.
- Add grapefruit twist and blueberries.
For Brockmans Gin & Ginger substitute the tonic for premium ginger ale and a splash of Crème de Mure for a sensual and refreshing alternative and garnish with fresh ginger and blueberries.
Complex, rich and refreshingly fruity
- 40ml Brockmans gin
- 10ml lemon juice
- 10ml blueberry liqueur
- 60ml blueberry puree
- 50-70ml ginger beer
- Fill a shaker with ice and add all ingredients except the ginger beer – shake vigorously .
- Strain into a tall Collins glass filled with a few dry ice pellets.
- Top with cubed ice and slow-poured ginger beer.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and four blueberries skewered on a cocktail stick.
