Adhya Group hosted the grand opening of AkiraBack Steak and AkiraBack Bar in Senayan City. This inauguration signals Adhya Group’s stride in presenting international-grade cuisine in Jakarta. Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Aspen, USA, Chef Akira Back developed a passion for the restaurant industry while working in a Japanese restaurant for seven years in the Rocky Mountain at the age of 15. His culinary journey led him to The Art Institute in Colorado, where he honed his international culinary education. Chef Akira Back opened his first Akira Back Steak in Los Angeles, USA, introducing the concept of a modern Korean BBQ steakhouse. His restaurants are currently spread throughout different cities across the globe, demonstrating his culinary expertise.
AkiraBack Bar, known as A Bar, debuted in Bangkok, and the second A Bar emerged in Jakarta. AB Steak and A Bar in Jakarta represent the largest outlet among all Akira Back outlets globally, merging both brands.
