Hendrick’s Gin and Three Local Designers Present Indonesia-Inspired Cocktails at Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week 2024

Through a seamless fusion of high fashion and luxury gin, this collaboration created a memorable evening that fused innovation with Indonesian heritage through taste and style.

Hendrick’s Gin brought a refreshing twist to Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week from 2 to 7 September 2024, blending fashion with mixology in an unforgettable collaboration. The highlight came on the final day when three renowned Indonesian designers—Rama Dauhan of Rama Dauhan Design Studio, Dana Maulana and Michael Simiadi of Danjyo Hiyoji, and the duo Radhitio Anindhito and Andandika Surasetja of STUDIOMORAL—stepped behind the bar to craft cocktails inspired by their designs and Indonesia’s vibrant flavours.

Using Hendrick’s Original Gin, along with its limited releases Flora Adora and Neptunia, each designer infused their creative touch into the cocktails. Rama Dauhan’s “Hangat Sentuhnya Martini” evoked the bold flavours of lemongrass, lychee and chilli, reflecting the crisp citrus notes and coastal breeze of Neptunia. Danjyo Hiyoji’s “LANANG” harmonised sweet, sour and savoury notes, blending Hendrick’s Flora Adora’s fragrant florals with the designers’ vision of modern masculinity. STUDIOMORAL’s “Dasa Dharma” mixed Hendrick’s Original with tangy tamarind and lime, celebrating Indonesia’s eclectic spirit with a bold, minimalist twist.

Adding to the fun, Hendrick’s delighted guests with a playful experience: ringing a bell at the Wall of Refreshment to receive a perfectly served Hendrick’s & Tonic. This whimsical touch captured the quirky essence of Hendrick’s, ensuring every guest left with a smile and a drink in hand.
