Kura Kura Beer has unveiled an exciting new chapter in its journey by collaborating with Australia’s Gage Roads Brew Co. to launch VayCay XPA, a single-batch beer crafted to capture the spirit of the island and coastal life. Born from a shared appreciation for sun-drenched shores and the relaxed rhythm of daily life in Bali and Western Australia, this unique release melds both cultures in each sip.
This collaboration is more than a blend of ingredients; it represents a partnership between two brewers with a deep commitment to the art of craft beer. “We’ve always taken pride in our collaborations, but this time we’re taking it to new heights—partnering with a fellow brewer who shares our passion,” says Putu Wiranatha, Founder of Kura Kura Beer. For him, this release symbolises an important milestone as the world begins to recognise Kura Kura’s unique contributions to the global craft beer scene.
Further enhancing the experience, West Australian artist Reif Myers, long based in Bali, has designed a can that radiates the essence of both Bali and Western Australia. His artwork brings to life the sun, surf and sand—elements that embody the meeting of these two vibrant cultures. Each can tell a story of coastal living and island adventures, inviting beer enthusiasts to join this journey with every pour.
VayCay XPA is more than just a drink; it’s an experience infused with island-inspired flavours. With hints of guava, mango, passionfruit and a bright twist of lime, the beer evokes the coolness of an ocean breeze on a warm afternoon, delivering a refreshingly tropical taste.
