Celebrating the monthly full moon, Salon Bali at Hotel Indigo Bali is holding a series of intimate dinner events for fine-dining connoisseurs on the island. Through its Purnama Dinner, Salon Bali invites guest chefs to showcase their expertise in creating delicious meals. In honour of Indonesia’s Independence Day, on 16 August, the Purnama Dinner will be taken over solely by chef Wayan Kresnayasa of Ijen at Potato Head Bali.
The Bali-born chef has spent many years honing his skills at some of the best restaurants in America, including the two Michelin-starred restaurant Acadia. For this dinner, chef Wayan will prepare a six-course degustation menu that highlights Indonesia’s remarkable oceanic cuisine.
The exclusive kitchen take-over will also showcase the skills of guest mixologist Ghalim from Ubud’s Ruang Tamu at BLANCO par Mandif. Known for creating beautiful drink concoctions, Ghalim is ready to make special cocktails that will pair nicely with the food.
