Recently, Alila Villas Uluwatu announced the appointment of Vincent Durier as its new general manager, effective 28 February 2025. Bringing over 20 years of international hospitality expertise, his leadership is set to elevate the resort’s reputation for sustainable luxury and bespoke guest experiences.
Hailing from Bordeaux, France, Durier’s passion for hospitality was ignited in his grandfather’s bakery, where he developed a deep appreciation for culinary artistry and impeccable service. His career, spanning iconic destinations such as Bora Bora, Hong Kong, Beijing, Phuket and the Maldives, has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge across all facets of luxury hospitality. Most recently, he led COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives and Nawa Bajo in Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara province, showcasing his strategic leadership and people-centric approach.
