Chef de Cuisine Alessandro Cozzolino at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is bringing the traditional Italian-style aperitivo concept – native to his hometown of Naples – to the hotel’s Grissini restaurant and inviting diners to unwind after a long day of work. Guests can now enjoy two Italian favourites to kick back and relax. Order a glass of aperitivo with your entourage, while waiting for your pizza to be baked.
The pizzas are made using an authentic baking method with Napoletana dough, water, salt and beer yeast and baked in the Grissini oven – resulting in a fragrant, tender and soft textured base, similar to the signature Grissini sticks. The best part is you can choose your own favourite pizza toppings from the extensive selection of ingredients at the bar.
The selection includes prawns, asparagus and ricotta mousse, 24-month parma ham, San Marzano tomato sauce and buffalo mozzarella cheese, Fassone beef carpaccio, rocket salad and parmesan cheese, thin veal slice, tuna sauce, capers and frisée lettuce, roasted scallops, black truffle and celeriac, and last but not least, lobster and crudaiola tomato salad. The offer is available daily throughout February from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Reservations are required.
