Have you ever been in a situation where you feel like there’s so much food but so little time? With Sundara’s Bali’s Longest Brunch, you won’t have to fret again, because as the moniker suggests, the brunch lasts for six hours every Sunday from 11AM till 5PM. The extended duration allows diners to add swim time to the brunch session with Sundara’s 57-metre beachfront swimming pool.
Regulars at Sundara know the sharing tapas-style dishes here are on a whole new level of deliciousness. Served à la carte-style, the menu comprises several sections: hot, cold and sweet. The cold section is the perfect way to tickle your appetite, with aces like the red snapper carpaccio, tea smoked mahi mahi, duck and chicken liver parfait and the refreshing swimmer crab salad with coconut.
The hot section offers a hearty selection including the Lombok oyster tempura with wasabi mayo and sea grapes, torched foie gras, wok sautéed clams with hot sour broth, char siew pork slider, soft shelled crab with green mango and chilli jam, beef short rib and the exquisite gindara cod with mushroom escabeche and dashi butter.
The sweet section is just as extensive as the rest, and that’s why Sundara offers extra hours for the brunch, because you have to take it slow and try all the deserts on offer. The Rum-y Cheese Cake is an all-time favourite and the peanut ice coffee burger offers a unique twist while the Japanese yuzu cream with green tea sponge, passion fruit curd and sago pearl makes for a nice ending to the wonderfully laidback Sunday. But, hang on! Don’t leave yet, as starting at 5PM is the Sundara Sundowners Happy Hour!
